What personal data we collect and why we collect it


When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Contact forms

When you register on our site, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, phone number and email address.  This enables us to both fulfill and send you the content you registered for.

When you browse our site, we automatically receive information about your computer’s, phone’s or tablet’s browser and operating system so we can better improve the experience for all our users.  We also collect location such as country, region and city to know where our subscribers and customers visited from and what time and date they visited our site.

Email marketing:  With your permission we may send you emails about new products, free and premium content (i.e. blog posts, videos, YouTube videos , reports/whitepapers, e-books, PDF, tips, recommendations etc.), and special events.

Text message marketing: With your permission we may send you text messages to the phone number (if you added your phone number) about new products, free and premium content (i.e. blog posts, videos, YouTube videos , reports/whitepapers, e-books, PDF, tips, recommendations etc.), and special events like webinars/webcasts or other information.

Facebook Messenger marketing:  With your permission we may send you messages to Facebook Messenger (if you added this subscription through our website) about new products, free and premium content (i.e. blog posts, videos, YouTube videos , reports/whitepapers, e-books, PDF, tips, recommendations etc.), and special events like webinars/webcasts or other information.

On all pages on our website where you can share your personal information with us, there is a consent text under the box that says “By submitting your info, you agree to send it to Lewis Adams who will process and use it acording to their privacy policy.”


If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reasons (i.e. newsletter subscription and marketing messages), we will ask you directly for your expressed consent and provide you with an opportunity to withdraw your consent.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by clicking on an “unsubscribe” link which is offered at the bottom of every email we send.  For text messages, reply with “SMS STOP”.

For Facebook messenger, just tie “STOP” in messenger.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
